MY STORY

Lorenzo Bovitutti was born in 1993 in Gallarate, and graduated under the guidance of Roberto Plano at the Alessandria Conservatory in 2016, with 10/10 cum laude and honorable mention.

He was Artist in Residence (‘18-20) at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Brussels, where he perfected his skills under Louis Lortie.

He continued his studies at the Haute École de Musique in Geneva with Cédric Pescia (Master of Arts in Piano Performance), and with Pasquale Iannone at the Conservatory of Bari, with whom he still works.

For the academic year 2023-24, he has been admitted to the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, ranking #1 among all candidates for the Master, with his admission audition.

For the next two years, he will study to pursue a Master of Arts in Piano Pedagogy, once again with world-renown concert pianist Roberto Plano.

A regular prizewinner in International Piano Competitions, recent First Prizes are "Mendelssohn Piano Competition" (Alassio), "Festival di Bellagio e del Lago di Como", "Platina International Grand Prize" (Cremona).

He was also finalist and Second Prize at the "Albenga International Piano Competition 2021".

Bovitutti gives recitals throughout Europe and South America, for some of the most prestigious Concert Seasons: Società dei Concerti (Milano), Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel (Brussels), Fête de la Musique (Geneva), Vivace Vilnius Festival (Lituania), Camerata Ducale (Vercelli), Lacmus Festival (Como), Festival Internacional Iguazù en Concierto (Argentina), Maggio della Musica (Napoli), Roma Tre Orchestra (Roma), De Sono Ass. per la Musica (Torino).

During this season, he will debut with Beethoven's Fifth Piano Concerto "Emperor", with soloists from Orchestra da Camera Canova.

Despite his young age, Bovitutti is in high demand for his teaching skills.
